Music from Israeli Sephardic singer, Yasmin Levy (just amazing pipes on this gal)
She often performs in Ladino, a medieval language that is mostly Spanish and Hebrew, but with some Arabic, Greek and Turkish thrown in.

English lyrics…
Happiness - Yasmin Levy
I drink and drink and drink in order to forget you
I sleep and sleep and sleep so that I don't think of you
D*mn world
To live to pay for the sin of loving you
D*mn you
Let go of me
I'm telling you, I have no life
And it's all because of you
My nights are just like my days
Full of loneliness
Oh, My God
Help me kill this love
That's in my heart
You, Holy God, save me
Alone, walking on the roads of this world
I have no more strength to fight
I thought loving you was the cure of pain
But the pain grew bigger and bigger
I'm leaving you for good, my life, but don't ever forget
That I'm a man who existed in your life
I'll offer you the song of my life, forever
Until the day I'll die

I experienced sort of a rebirth last summer while visiting a certain mountain/lake resort in my state (NC). This song really describes it well. I liked it as a kid, but now it holds new meaning.
So much beauty in the world and so little time to appreciate it all.
Thanks, Scott!

How do get the full video pic to appear, as opposed to the written link?

Here’s a current song that I really like….really relate to it.
Gillian Welch - St Lukes (Full Concert, August 4, 2004, London) - - - 1 Hour long
progressive country / blue grass
Great pipes, fantastic guitar from David Rawlings (playing a classic 1935 guitar), original songs, some beautiful, emotional ballads. Just great stuff

I love this song. The video is a little perplexing, though.
