Appointment scheduled for end of April

Posted by mlanguell92 @mlanguell92, Apr 19 5:05am

Hello, I have my appointment scheduled for the the end of month April 30th in Rochester. I’ve been watching the weather and it looks like it will be in the 60s. How should I dress with this temp? 60° in MO is not bad for short sleeves. I’m also bringing my husband and 10 month old we are staying in a hotel pretty close to Mayo so there’s a chance we are going to be walking outside or even in the “tunnel” I’m not sure how long this trip is going to be. It’s only my evaluation with the endocrinologist and possibly thoracic but only one appointment is scheduled. We are booked for a week so if anyone has any suggestions of what we can do in our free time with a baby and pretty cheap would be great!

April in MN weather is unpredictable. At 60, you will see many locals in shorts and short sleeves and visitors in winter coats. Dress in layers. It will be chilly in morn and if out in sun can be warm. The waiting room / exam rooms can be chilly. And wear comfortable shoes for walking.

If have a car and it is a nice day, I suggest short drive to Byron and Oxbow Park. It is mini zoo and it is free. Everything from snakes, bison, elk and just got a new black bear. About 20 minutes from downtown.
