Thank you @cehunt57 😊 It sounds like after the 4 year transplant year, most transplant patients get lab work done 3 to 6 months. I always love to hear your "18 years post transplant" comment! Are you on the list for a new kidney now?

@hello1234 I thought I replied a couple of days ago but I am mistaken. Sorry. The “18 years post transplant” that I love to refer to was a pancreas. I still have my original native kidneys. (You all are ahead of me there.) But I have CKD stage 4. I am inactively listed for kidney transplant. I’ve been evaluated, approved and accepted for transplant. I would like to have a preemptive transplant before dialysis becomes necessary. I’ve been looking for a living donor for about 8 years (to no avail). I want to be proactive. Thank God my GFR is still too good for active listing!
