Hello,

All symptoms were improved gradually but sometimes it amplifies again.

@drksidr
I am starting today to stop taking Omeprazole 20mg and will let you know what I experience. I have small erosions in my esophagus and stomach but stopped NSAIDs which I took for a long time due to pain. My main abdominal pain now has been due to a non-functioning gallbladder (biliary dyskinesia). I really don’t have heartburn/GERD. Having smaller meals, less acidic meals, less coffee helps. Some symptoms I have started worsening when I started taking Omeprazole in January 2024. I have read that Omeprazole should be only be taken short term (4-8 weeks).

@drksidr im a retired nurse and I didn’t see where you were checked out neurologically following your head injury? This is very important to have been evaluated for post concusive syndrome with radiologic studies. Do you have a PCP who can coordinate all of your care?

Get an MRA done. Possibly a spinal tap to measure pressure and see an ophthalmologist to check pressure in eyes!

I have had 2 spinal taps, opening pressure was 30 both times.

Seen an ophthalmologist almost every month. My optic nerve swelling resolved but still have eye pain.

I get MRA done every year to
Monitor 🙁

I’m still seeing doctors and working on getting an answer. This is tiring and just ugh

Have you seen an actual eye doctor? My Grandchild had headaches, tiredness etc but thought it was her life at the moment - then she had visual problems and the eye MD sent her to hospital. She had a brain tumor. I mean to say it could be a lot of things but it needs to get checked out!

A neuro-opthamologist may also be required. At least ask, or a retina specialist.
