Leaky gut?
Hello, I’m hoping to connect with others who may be able to Help with some answers with what I’m dealing with. I have fibromyalgia and am gluten intolerant. I also have eczema that has spread over different parts of my body. My dr prescribed a steroid to help with the eczema, however I am extremely itchy with a rash on arms
Legs torso. Dr thinks it’s all related but I’m not sure
I have had bouts with heart burn s d constipation/diarrhea. I’ve been reading up about leaky gut syndrome and think I have many of
The symptoms. Any tips as to how I can go about this would be appreciated. I’m in the ER now because of severe fatigue feeling faint s d shallow breathing.

Ha! Thanks!
Florestor sounds familiar. That might have been one of the things I tried with the gastroenterologist. And I did use Metamucil for quite a while with no results that I could see. I’ve used potent, prescription probiotics and everything else they could think of. I tried fermented foods, but didn’t stick with it long enough. I’m starting that again and I’m making sure I get plenty of prebiotics.
I’m at the point of going on a spiritual quest for healing my poor intestines!
It may be helpful to google "night shades"....Dr. Gundry didn't create this information, it's been known for many years....they are foods that cause inflammation in the joints.....you could always try not eating the foods on that list for 3 months or so...and see if you feel any different.....hope that helps....
Hello,
I spoke with my doctor - Dr. Mark Condren who is an MD but also an integrative physician, about constipation. He suggested that I take Magnesium CItrate 150 mgs. magnesium 2 twice a day. I also eat Dates. That seems to help me everyday. Sometimes I feel emptied out and sometimes I feel a little constipated. Everyday I have a Bowel Movement. If I can be of any more help, please contact me.
Most physicians only prescribe over the counter remedies and or other drugs.
Good luck!!
There is a tea called Smooth Move. It works!!
Hello,
Try Smooth Move Tea. You drink it before bedtime. In the morning you will relieve yourself.
Relieving myself means liquid diarrhea. That doesn’t sound like something that would be good. Or am I misunderstanding?
Metamucil gummies and prune juice has always worked for me...normal bm every day!
You are very lucky that you're able to have such great results with just these two simple things. I agree with you on the Metamucil gummies, they are better than others I have tried and I get SO tired of the powder form. The gummies are like a good for you candy.
Never wish for constipation. No drs really have any idea how awful it can be or how stupid they are when dishing out meds and advice. Same GI for 17 years, every script available, constant impactions plus worse. When a GI says " I don't know anything about the autonomic nervous system or what to do about motility." RUN OUT OF THE office and dump the dr. before he dumps you, after you get to have a nasal gastric tube shoved up your nose and down your throat for 3 days in ICU, because you DID have a partial small bowel obstruction forming. He literally would not return my calls, when I told him about it.
After several abdominal surgeries I have a particular horror of constipation. Yes I had a total bowel obstruction, ng tubes, central line tpn, weeks in hospital incl icu. Now I always take stool softener, plus Metamucil gummies and warm prune juice for emergencies...also keep Fleets enema and suppositories on hand.
