I love analogies and your earthquake analogy is right on target. Not every earthquake is significant nor is every lump, but they do deserve our attention for however long the shaking lasts. To continue with your analogy, if it's 2.4 we're delighted and if it's 7.5, we hold on tight and then come together to rebuild.
Two people on this thread have just told us that their new lump found post breast cancer was benign. That's a good reminder that 80% of breast biopsies are benign so just because you had cancer before doesn't mean every lump from that day forward will be malignant. It just means that we need to be vigilant and the doctors would be remiss if they didn't biopsy. Please keep us posted. Continued prayers.
