Yesterday I went to the hospital. They put me into a cat scan and found that I had fluid in my right lung. So, they put a catheter and drained out 2 liters of fluid.....
It seems that my coughing has subsided a little. The Dr. told me that the cancer was still active. I will see my oncologist soon. I want to prevent the liquid from coming back.

@mikee2all, I'm glad that you listened to your body and went into the hospital. It can be difficult to know when to seek help. I hope your oncology office can be helpful in guiding these types of decisions. I used to feel that I was being a bother, but my oncology office has reassured me that I can, and should, reach out when I'm questioning my own symptoms and side-effects. You've really been through some difficult times recently hopefully your team can get this fluid under control, so you can keep some food down, and ultimately put some weight back on.
Did the hospital provide any advice for the nausea, or did they feel that taking the fluid off the lung may help your system readjust?
