This is so true! Thank you. Still in pain today. And still resisting medication. I hate taking medication. But I know I need to help my body so I'm about to go ahead and take some pain pills now. The anti inflammatory properties should help my poor body that's in havoc I'm sure. I'm crossing my fingers that the flareup goes away soon. It is one of the worst ones I've experienced.

I understand your hesitation on pain meds, but living a life of pain is not real living. The knock on opioids is undeniable but also flawed. Yes one can be dependent on them if taken as the Dr ordered. But taking it to get high will certainly make you a person that needs those meds for more than just pain. But the risk is better than the pain. That’s just my opinion, everyone is different.
