Thank you so much. I am so sensitive to meds but like you looking for answers. I pray our Lord will bless you and bring you healing. I too lean on Him . I don’t understand this journey, but pray He brings me answers. I am 67 and was very active and walked 5 miles almost daily. I loved working in the yard and even mowing our family cemetery. Now I can’t walk very long without terrible pain in the muscles beside my shins and sensitivity to heat and fabric against my legs. Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. Bless you

The only true answer is the ability to find a good and competent doctor, who has the time and the interest to help you.
That's really difficult to find, but perhaps those who live in a larger city with an abundance of medical facilities will have better luck than those of us who live in rural or small town areas.
Waiting weeks or months to get an appointment with a doctor or test is also detrimental to this problem.
Pain wears a person down. Sounds like most posters here are in that condition.

I have similar problems if I do too much, walk or stand too long, etc. It sounds like you have peripheral neuropathy. Have you gone to a neurologist for testing (EMG/nerve conduction/skin punch biopsy for small fiber neuropathy)? You can try taking alpha Lipoic acid (ALA) supplements, use Salonpas lidocaine pain patches and capsaicin neuropathy topical cream to relieve some of the pain.

Praying you get answers and some pain relief.

Hi, I have become extremely sensitive to medications also.
I put off cleaning up my diet for a long time. First thing I did was find a doctor that does functional medicine. Remember when we were little and they always drew blood for labs before they gave to any medication. I found a lot of answers on UTUBE. To find the doctor I found a pharmacy that will make up your medications for you, Apothecary Pharmacies, called them and spoke to the pharmacist. He gave me the number to three different clinics. They checked out everything they could. Then told me OFF ALL DAIRY and OFF ALL GLUTEN, try not to use preceded foods and organic as you can. Your diet extremely helps with the inflammation in your body. Since you have a computer there are tons of recipes that are gluten and dairy free.
