I’ve found that drinking thru a straw really helps, especially when I get food stuck a bit. Cutting food into very small pieces also helps with chewing. Gone are the days of putting a big piece of meat or potato in my mouth and chewing all of it. Having liquid right there has saved me from choking several times. Protein drinks are a good idea. Put in fruit that he still likes will make it more appealing taste wise. Best of luck. I’ve had diagnosed Parkinson’s for 8 years but only within the last year have I seen negative changes. Exercising is SO important!! I’ve been a very healthy and complications free diabetic for 53 years. As I tell my very supportive wife I’ll take diabetes any day over Parkinson’s!!!
