I have IBS and you have to be careful with the type of magnesium. Oxide and Citrate both effect your bowels. Glycine is the most absorbed and should not give you trouble. It’s more calming and well absorbed. Many take it for the calming effect and for sleep. If you google the different types you can see. If I get constipated my doc says take either oxide or citrate.

@candy209 THank you for this information! Do you take yours during the day or bedtime? Do you take it with food or it's OK by itself?
