i had same thing; 43 days radiation , shot every 6 months, I don't know if my shot is exactly the same but I have hot flashes and takes all the testosterone out. I have 3 month check ups and the shot is given every 6 months. my doctor gets a blood sample every 3 months and gets the psa from that. he shows me on the computer diagram screen. it gives a graph that shows if it's going down.
yours no doubt knows the psa count. he will give it to you if you ask, I think

Thank you. I've had such bad side affects reported on this blog that I'm reluctant ;to try it. The blog yesterday from @flor was the first ray of hope. My radiation was about 5 years ago and since then the psa has been low (1-2). Last month it was 20 and a week later was 19. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet.
