Leaky gut?
Hello, I’m hoping to connect with others who may be able to Help with some answers with what I’m dealing with. I have fibromyalgia and am gluten intolerant. I also have eczema that has spread over different parts of my body. My dr prescribed a steroid to help with the eczema, however I am extremely itchy with a rash on arms
Legs torso. Dr thinks it’s all related but I’m not sure
I have had bouts with heart burn s d constipation/diarrhea. I’ve been reading up about leaky gut syndrome and think I have many of
The symptoms. Any tips as to how I can go about this would be appreciated. I’m in the ER now because of severe fatigue feeling faint s d shallow breathing.

I totally agree. I hate the way he tries to get us to buy!
If there is n other research, I WILL NOT!
I like the holistic perspective. Science always evolves with new info so why not check new ideas? Believing the earth is not the center of the universe isn't punishable any more and who gives children pine tar + sugar colds?
I have both MD's and ND's since the 1980's and use the best of both. One idea Dr Gundry talks about is the nightshade family. Having a malformed leg from a 1972 near fatal auto accident I pondered my joint aches as I aged. My leg joints hurt too much but no way did I want meds. In 2007 I adapted the no nightshade diet and still continue. Animal researcher Dr Childers who watched cows develop arthritis after eating nightshade plants almost every time was an inspiration.
For humans I quit potatoes, tomatoes, hot and regular peppers, eggplant, paprika and never have used tobacco. My results were great with reduced pain and little evidence of arthritis. Lots of people I knew who tried it had great reviews too. Hells bells do your own tests if it works for you great if not even medication isn't always good for all of us plus often has side effects. My favorite was a guy who was terminal but had quite smoking and ate lots of spaghetti and other nightshades. He wanted to have less pain. I shared about the nightshade family, he tired it and two weeks later he said he hadn't felt so good in eight years. Later his sister who he lived with, sent a thank you to me for helping him have less pain at the end of his life. Good luck 70 something with no medication @farmersmith
Hey thanks for your like. I am currently listening to studies on Neoplasticism that has to do with how our brain relates to pain. It is all in the brain. It is by the Gupta Group (even showcases non medication treatment done at Mayo Clinic in 2012) and put on by my instructor in Functional, Integrative, Complementary medicine in the early 1980's Dr Jeffery Bland PhD. It is exciting to realize possible progressions of how we are where we are. Auto accident - trauma - high alert dealing with pain went to the brain and had long term effects + having redundant colon not knowing I had it with it similarly had long term effects - now learning to deal with it naturally. We can take part in our healing and looking at all kinds of aids makes sense. Just understanding that our brains are programed for HIGH ALERT is helpful so we can look at natural aids and common sense meds if absolutely necessary. So far I continue med free, study or not. @farmersmith

Pour 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into the warm water. Stir in 2 tablespoons of raw honey into the warm water. Drink the mixture before bedtime. Expect a series of bowel movements the next day as waste and toxins are eliminated.

I don't believe he's looking out for himself. I'd trust food and herbs to heal myself before I trust any doctor who wants to give you a quick fix with drugs and it's side effects!!!!!
I wouldn't go by what Jake says!! I would trust food and herbs (supplements) before I'd trust any doctor who want to pump you up with drugs and their side effects for a quick remedy and which create other problems. God made the body to heal itself and provided plants and food for us to heal ourselves, we don't need drugs which do more harm than good!!!!!
@dlovelife1
Remember trusting food if you ever get cancer or some other horrible disease. Drugs saved my life many times. I am very grateful for them.
But I do believe that too many medications are prescribed but l feel patients are partially responsible, It isn't just the doctor.
Jake
Please keep an open mind about a variety of health treatments. Remember pine tar was used for children for their colds, blood letting was used to remove impurities, moldy bread were all used as topical ointments and dressings but later penicillin was developed. Women were sometimes dosed with horse saliva as a cure for an impaired libido. Some people may be more sensitive than others. The standard American diet certainly has issues. Some MD's don't believe in leaky gut, I have found treatments by Naturopathic doctors to often be less invasive and help me heal without dependency on drugs. Check out some of Dr Gundry's suggestions, look at your diet, go organic and remove the offending foods. Our bodies each have biological individuality and we are often treated like one size fits all so keep fine tuning. Good luck
