Ongoing Stiff Neck et al
I have have had a nagging stiff neck, eustachian tube popping, and dulled left-ear hearing for about 4 months. No help after visits to ENT, Orthopedic doc, and physical therapist. I am wondering if anyone has had similar symptoms and what the outcome was. Thanks.

@healthseeker77 that is great news. I’m so happy for your improvement. I am doing Dr Mandel’s exercises also. Do you do the exercises several times a day or just once. Could you kind of outline your routine. Keep in keeping on.
Hi Sequoia, ( Sequoia is one of my favorite National Parks) I do the exercises several times a day. It takes less than 10 minutes to do the combination of sinus clearing, tinnitus relief and neck muscle relaxation/ release exercises.
I do them when I get up in the morning, then once during the day and finally again before I go to bed.
I also changed the angle of my head when I am using my cell phone and iPad per Dr. Mandell’s recommendations. I spend too many hours on my iPhone and iPad so it is not surprising that my neck was giving me so much pain.
Dr. Mandell provides amazing solutions to so many health issues. I am so glad he was mentioned on this forum.
@healthseeker77 thank you. I was doing throughout the day. I can feel my neck muscles relaxing. It’s a great exercise.
We live up in the Sierras by Sequoia Nat’l Forest. Love the Sequoias. I thought Dr. Mandel’s video was excellent. I’m going to follow him more closely. Thanks again for info. Have a great pain free day!
Be careful about these exercises. I did them yesterday and, beginning last night, my neck became much sorer than it was. Now, when I move my head a certain way, my neck becomes worse. Pain I would rate as a 7 and causing much nausea. These exercises might not be safe for everybody. I do have a herniated disc in my neck with some impingement and the doctors are talking about doing cervical surgery.
Hi Meg,
You are absolutely right. People need to be cautious about doing exercises that are safe for their personal bodies. There is a warning on all of Dr. Mandell’s ( He is a Chiropractor) videos to caution watchers that says:
THIS SHOULD NOT BE USED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT. PLEASE CONSULT YOUR HEALTH CARE PROVIDER, BEFORE MAKING ANY HEALTHCARE DECISIONS OR FOR GUIDANCE ABOUT A SPECIFIC MEDICAL CONDITION.
I hope you feel better soon.
Thank you.
Hi @meg8, So sorry to hear these exercises didn't work for you. I hope that you find some relief and that your pain eases soon.
@frances007 so true! And I can relate! So frustrating when one specialist diagnoses you with something the. The next one brushes you off, saying you don’t have it. Only people with auto immune illnesses can understand.
Thank you. I am seeing a neurosurgeon March 28.
I hope it goes well, @meg8.
