When I receive my AMD injections, I have a pretty bad bleed that occurs. I'm not on blood thinners, and I'm wondering if there is a supplement I can take to help prevent this.

I've only had 3 injections. I will ask my RS, but I'm hoping there's a non-pharmaceutical that others have taken. Yes, I know I can ask him. Thank you!

I guess I'm a bleeder not a clotter (if that's a thing). I also bruise easily. I do on camera video production and can't have a bloody eye if I'm going to continue to work.
amazing. thank you for your wisdom. do you know what medications were injected? You have given me hope. I have very recently changed retina doctor. my medication was changed without explanation. then i developed a long black eyelash life object floating around the eye. i have had it for 7 months. no explanation.

I was getting Lucentis injections but they changed everyone to Cimerli. One of the side effects is blood vessel leakage. It goes away. Are you going a good retina doctor who specializes in only the retina?
Thank you so much for replying.
I have appt. next Tuesday with a new retina Dr.
who was recommended by a dear friend.
I was switched to the Dr. I am leaving.
He is the brother of the Dr. I went to for years and loved.
Unfortunately the brother is too far away

I have had 61 injections in 8 years and only one was a bad blood vessel bruise for a month. I think it is the doctor as it was a different doc.
My optician suggested I use Lumify eye drops before I go in next time. It will constrict the blood vessels. It's worth a try!
