Yes it appears you have to be your own advocate in this day and time I am yet to meet my new female general practitioner which will be in April and I'm hoping for good things I always had a female physician my doctor was with me for 35 years when she retired she passed me on to another female physician but she left after 4 years so then I was stuck with this male doctor hopefully my new female physician is a good one

Good luck with your new provider. I had seen female gynecologists, female primary providers, female endocrinologists on a regular basis for years…..ugh…no one ever mentioned HRT.
