If you read nutrition book by the Caltons, which is recommended by Dr. Lucas, they say Magnesium Oxide and Citrate are fine, I take both and had an increase in Dexa (still had fracture later). I think the magnesium choice depends upon whether you need or don’t need a laxative effect.

If you don’t want laxative effect, use something other than citrate or oxide.
