I try to wear an 8 pound weighted vest twice a week for a 30 minute brisk walk on hills. I weigh 125 lbs. and I feel stronger and empowered with the added weight. How can this be worse than lifting weights three times a week. I agree with you!

I'm looking into a weighted rucking backpack for brisk walking or trail walking. It is said that the hip strap could distribute weight to hips to reduce strains on shoulders and back. My only hesitation is that I don't need heavy weights as I'm only about 115lb, although the hip strap may allow a higher tolerable weight bearing.

@deanna1320 it is overwhelming indeed. Almost 2 years into diagnosis, I'm still reading a lot and modifying whats needed as new info comes around. Nutrition/supplements and proper exercises are important. Using a medicine if warranted. One day at a time..
