Hello. I'm new to this platform, exciting to read and learn everyone's stories.
I was diagnosed with keratoconus 10+ yrs ago. Eye doctor visits aren't the best time for me šŸ™ but I just learned there is a new function O.D. are using is their office called CLARIFYE is a state-of-the-art digital eye exam experience that PRICISELY measures for a 100% outc9ne of contact lenses prescription. I have an appointment soon, hopefully this will work..... I've had very disappointing pasted appointments. Hope to year your feedback!!!

Hi. What have they done or currently doing to deal with condition ?

I need to ask them where they are with treatment. Iā€™m not sure. I know my daughter canā€™t drive because she canā€™t pass the visual exam. She went to a big hospital ophthalmology practice and had special Contacts for a long time but I think has stopped that. and my granddaughter was only recently diagnosed.

Crazy that it sounds, but statistically states our condition is very rare. And coincidently you say your daughter can't pass visual exam.... few weeks back I happened to be looking at my driver license and noticed renewal time coming up soon. Then I saw something else I've never seen or just not ever paid any attention to but it had a Code: B .....thinking what's this?? I Google for within my State and surprisingly it meant " corrective lenses".....so for 8+ yrs this coding has been on ID. I do were corrective "special" contact lenses but how did THEY know, don't remember ever disclosing information. Anyways, tell her to wear her contact lenses to hopefully pass eye exam- wish her luck!!
