Anyone familiar with Real Wave Neuropathy Centers?

Posted by domiha @domiha, Feb 23 9:00am

I came across Real Wave Neuropathy Treatment Center. There are several locations in the US, the closest to me being in the Atlanta area. I'm just wondering if anyone here has heard of them or has received any treatment at any and if so, with what results?? Any negatives about them? Thanks! Mike

Reading their websites sure makes their treatment sound like the miracle everyone is looking for. My question is always at what cost $$$$. I may be way off base due to my experience when first looking into some of the existing neuropathy clinics back in 2016. There is another similar discussion if you haven't already seen it.

Thanks, John! I just read through the posts in the thread you linked. I guess if it seems too good to be true it probably is.
Best to all!

My husband went due to his Chemo Induced Neuropathy and stopped going because he did not feel it was helping. Then, they permanently closed ALL locations last week. So... that is not a good sign.

Thanks for sharing your husband's experience, @luv2teach. I am 2 hours from the closest treatment center, but that may be closed, as well. Sounds like another of those things that sounds too good to be true... and probably is. 🙁 Hope your husband is finding other things that help bring some degree of relief. Best wishes! Mike

Hi @luv2teach, I would like to add my welcome to Connect along with @domiha and others. Sorry to hear your husband developed neuropathy following his chemo treatments. There is another discussion you might find helpful:

Is your husband still undergoing chemo treatments?

Probably so. Sad that scammers try to take advantage of people who are suffering the effects of legitimate illnesses. 🙁

Yes, unfortunately these scams abound. Anytime you see something that says "FDA cleared" with respect to a device be aware this is virtually meaningless. The FDA does not examine most of these devices if they even vaguely resemble others that have previously been marketed. The way the FDA handles this, or fails to handle it, has been severely criticized by many health care experts and changes may soon be in the works. Again, "cleared by FDA" related to devices is nothing like "FDA approved" for new drugs.

It was helping my husband tremendously! If anyone has information, why they close down please let me know,
Hollyhockacre@aol.com or is there any place you can go to get the same treatment? Thank you, Cathy.
