Pain after lobectomy (lung cancer) surgery: When will it go away?
Two months out from lower left lobectomy and just started to feel better when pain started again all around the incision area and upper part of back and spine area. Almost like a stinging sensation. I have read this could happen. Has anyone experienced this?

I have been a vegetarian for 36 years! Nice talking to you too-
Yes it is similar. I use the lidocaine patch at night before bedtime so I could sleep not that I sleep great but at least I’m not in pain.
Yes, they do help
I noticed below my incision I have a lump. I don’t know if that scar tissue. Does anyone else have something like that? Thank you.
Seven years after my lung cancer surgery below my incision I noticed a lump is that scar tissue? Is that why I’m in so much pain does anyone else have something like that? Thank you so much.
Would you mind sharing about your surgery 12 years ago? My upper right posterior lobe has 2 nodules.
Mine was biopsied and it was adebocarcinoma. Surgeon said it waa better to remove entire lobe rather than a wedge. I did need chemo. Compared to this last surgery I had on lower left it was an easier surgery because of less muscle pain. My breathing was limited very little after the upper lobe was removed I continued to hike and dance with few limitations. I hope that helps, good luck. If you have specific question let me know.
What do you take for pain?
Nothing I saw the doctor today and he told me because I’m exercising too much. I’m aggravating it he said to exercise but don’t overdo it.
Hi, I had a LR lobectomy in May 23. Gabapentin was a lifesaver along with the lidocaine patches. I also opted for no chemotherapy. I was wondering how often you juice and your recipe? Have you done any Vit C infusions?
