I'm not sure if this appropriate support group but looking for anyone who had a elevated right hemidiaphragm with colonic interposition found on a chest xray?
My disabled daughter ( autism, epilepsy) had hets diagnosed about 6 years ago but no diarrhea, but recently was hospitalized as she stopped eating, drinking, taking Zonisamide for seizures;
After enemas, she began doing more stools.. but seems in pain still
Probably can't do surgery due to disability so taking Lactulose..
Any input greatly appreciated..

Hi @minajo, is this Chilaiditi’s syndrome or sign where the colon is abnormally located (interposed) in between the liver and the diaphragm? What is HETS?

Is the lactulose helping your daughter?
