Hi Lorena - Here are a couple of references to possible issues with a keto diet.

--- 7 Keto Risks to Keep in Mind: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/dangers-of-keto-diet
--- Advantages and Disadvantages of the Ketogenic Diet: A Review Article: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7480775/

I tried a keto diet for a short period of time but just switched to lowering my carbs and trying to eat a little healthier. What type of flares are you having?

Thanks for sharing. I have still disease and take ilaris canakinumab once a month. I was reading the Standford metabolic psychiatry and through it will reverse my insuline resistance, fatty liver and help to stabilize mood and maybe get down my crp. I went to a nutritionist and she things I should not get down my carbs to 50 mg. Eventhough i try low carb and started to feel brain fog and lethargic, sleepy. It’s been 4 years since i stop sugar and refine carbs and processed food, 2 years since i stop grains and Diary. I think i am ready to have less carbs but my mind suffer so much. Instead of taking electrocites i took a big cooked plantain recipe and some rice and was leveled (could sleep and think). I will try with another nutritionist (functional endocrinologist) to understand whats goong on hopefully she Can manage thyroid, crp and work more deeply to find the reason of my Poor metabolic flexibility. I dont Want to go the ozempic way
