As a patient going through the same analysis - "do I get a TPN due to digestive failures", how is life now that you are a year and a half into the TPN journey as compared to before TPN?
Hi @cmaiwurm, as you wait to hear back from @buckslayer, I wanted to add a message of welcome. Additionally, I'm tagging fellow members like @garielle@tjanet@graphicedge, who have experience with total parenteral nutrition (TPN).
Reading your profile bio, it sounds like you've been dealing SIBO and digestive health issues for a while. What has lead to your considering TPN at this point in time?

Thanks for the note. I tested for being malnourished and that didn’t go well. I am running out of options with the level of dismotility, dilation, nutrition, symptoms from SIBO, etc. in short I am running out of options and can hopefully get some quality of life improvements through the use of TPN.
