I just need to know if anyone has gone through this surgery and what their experience was. Because I know of someone who had knee replacement, and when they tried to take the pin out, he got an infection they couldn’t get the pin out so I would like to hear of others.

Do you have a metal plate with pins in your femur? Is your concern that your doctor will need to remove the pins in your femur in order to do the knee replacement surgery?
