I think that you should make an appointment with your surgeon and ask for a better explanation of the surgery so that you can feel more comfortable.

I just need to know if anyone has gone through this surgery and what their experience was. Because I know of someone who had knee replacement, and when they tried to take the pin out, he got an infection they couldn’t get the pin out so I would like to hear of others.
