Long term covid issues
When I got my second covid shot I got swelling under mu left arm.. I know it's common problem is mine never went away. I get pain under my left arm all the time and it goes out to my breast and down my arm. I had a mammogram done and an ultrasound and it just shows inflammation. But Noone can tell me why its there or how to get rid of it.. I'm looking for other people with this to see if I can find any answers.

Did the doctors say it was due to inflammation of the lymph nodes under your armpit? Warm compresses can help some, but if the nerves are "squished" by the swollen nodules then it may be a waiting game. If it doesn't decrease or gets worse then it would be good to press the issue with the doctor. I had inflammed armpit lymph nodes for decades, and in my case swelling went away soon after I went gluten free (celiac diagnosis). Consider an elimination diet or keeping a food log to see if you are now sensitive to any foods. I avoid legumes, NSAIDs, and gluten, but am good with dairy and other things that can hit people.
Kay I started have silken armpit lymph nodes a few years ago and they just pop up out of nowhere. When you changed diets did it stop? I know it’s something that is irritating my body but seems to happen randomly and is difficult to diagnose the cause. Always goes away after a few days.
Has anyone tried nicotine patches

Hi cyrrusdh, Yes, the imflamed armpit nodules that I had for decades went away 14 years ago, a few weeks after going gluten free due to celiac. My immune system calmed down after I changed my diet. You might try a FODMAP diet for a while to see if that helps; it is mostly for SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth) problems but it excludes most "irritating" foods so a useful metric (one can still eat chocolate).
