My wife aged 81 has pressure sores on both her heels which has become ulcerated and is not responding to treatment, do you have any suggestions?

Hi @madge, and welcome to Connect. I found some information on treatments for pressure sores from Mayo Clinic (http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/bedsores/basics/treatment/con-20030848). Some of the information included in this link it for very severe sores, but I think it provides a good overview of recommended options.

I'm also tagging @gonefishinmt and @aimeenc who may be willing to share their experiences with sores and particular treatment methods they have found helpful.

A hydraulic chamber is a clear "tube like" table enclose , like a MRI
machine . My husband was put in it, and I was able to see hime(clear tube),
and his could listen to music ,or speak to me, or just nap. The unit is
often in a out-patient type building. He was treated as needed with a
doctor's request. This is something that "might" help, but please ask your
doctor for his/her option , if this can help. Good luck :)
