Constipation: What helps?
For the past 10 years, I have had severe constipation problems. I tried many medicines, and I have gone through 3 times endoscopy but discovered nothing. From 2015 till now my constipation problem couldn't be solved. To make it worse now I'm having multiple internal haemorrhoids due to this constipation. I don't know why I'm having this constipation problem.
Many people suggested many things like changing diets, taking a lot of fibre intake, reducing stress, quit smoking. I burp a lot and do have acid reflux as well but now it is getting better. What is the best solution for my constipation?

No you do not need to stop your miralax 👍to get your prolapsed stop eating the night before and called he's on early in the morning to do this test where you drink . You drink a white thing it looks tastes like bingo like 16 or 20 oz of the I need to drink it with in 15 minutes yum . They do an x-ray before you drink it and then they do one and they do a couple of x-rays then they said you on a big commode and then they put a syringe. in your rear end and fill it up and it feels like with this stuff. you are covered up with a gallon and they give you a blanket to sit and then you sit on a like a commode and then they watch you go to the bathroom as you go to the bathroom they click the machine and watch you go poop it mimics poop as they take X-rays have fun. no it was the most embarrassing thing for me it was embarrassing to watch them watch me go to the toilet. oh well it was no big deal for them they said they did it every day did for a day 5 days a week. and it checks if your poop's getting sick in the rear end or if there's a prolapse and what's going on or if the muscles are squeezing are not in the in the rectum or what's going on. 🥵 Hey at least it's painless and you don't need to go to sleep for it and you can walk out after you get done 😀. If you do it then left and yeah I told you what there is so hopefully there's no surprises.

Oh my….perhaps I should stop my probiotics until tested. Isn’t the main symptom of SIBO diarrhea?
That’s amazing! I wonder why my gastro hasn’t offered this test. My doctor did say I have excellent muscle tone….so, maybe that’s it.
I’ve added a magnesium supplement to my regimen that’s helped me with constipation.
Can my gallbladder cause me to have belching, feeling like something is stuck in my throat, and food can't go down not even water. Please help no doctor can help me I feel like dying.
Oh wow. Hmm I just did some research and turns out gallbladder problems can cause belching. And I heard of someone once who couldn't swallow and what she did for it was she had some kind of a thing done I think they call balloon dilation, where they blew up a little balloon inside the throat to open it back up because it was shrunk down really small. Maybe that would help. Have you tried that? I'll pray for you. Bing Chat came up with multiple reasons that might cause food and water not to go down: GERD or achalasia (in GERD the LES muscle in the esophagus is too loose and in achalasia it doesn't open which sounds scary but there are things they can do to help), strictures or narrowing in the throat, hiatal hernia, or weak peristalsis. Don't know what you've already investigated but hopefully this gives you more stuff to look into; remember there is some reason why you're having this and the doctors just haven't found it yet. You're one answer away from beating this. I'll pray for you.
Yes I have barium SWALLOW TESTS EVERY THING NOTHING IM GOING TO SEE A NECK DOCTOR IN MARCH HOPEFULLY I BE ALIVE TO MAKE THE APPOINTMENT. THANK YOU
I also heard about some medicines and a ton of other strategies, like diaphragmatic breathing or drinking herbal tea, that people use to help with regurgitation: https://www.verywellhealth.com/regurgitation-7485353. Don't know what you've tried at this point, have you done antacids, H2 blockers, and PPIs? Also I read that quitting smoking might help.
If worse comes to worst, maybe you can get nutrition through an IV temporarily; definitely NOT a good option because I think I heard there is a risk of not being able to wean off it and there are other possible serious/life-threatening complications like sepsis and liver damage, but it's there if you need it. I was considering it a few years ago when I was so backed up I could barely eat. Thankfully I found a breakthrough and never had to resort to that, but at least I knew the option existed in case of an emergency and I wasn't going to starve. Other options are subcutaneous fluids (which are safer than the IV route), G-tubes, J-tubes, nasal tubes. I just cringe at suggesting this stuff because I'm all about waiting it out as much as possible and not damaging my body by hammering it with artificial stuff to get it to function before I'm able to find out what the problem is and address it. I was prescribed Linzess a while ago for my severe constipation but I'd heard that it can permanently mess some people up, so I decided to hold on and look for better solutions and lo and behold I'm noticing signs that my gut hasn't forgotten how to work.
If you manage to start drinking again but can't eat, maybe you can do Pedialyte or Ensure to get nutrition. God Bless and I hope you find some answers!
There are two basic types of SIBO: hydrogen dominant (diarrhea) and methane dominant (constipation). I was diagnosed with SIBO in 2018 without definitive type but based on my constipation and slow gut motility, I've assumed and use treatments for methane dominant.
