@sandra1983 Sometimes the medications we need to take may impact our daily life, and we rely on others' help to accomplish normal routines. This could lead to feeling guilty. But, please don't. If it is a necessary evil to help you, then it is necessary! You certainly did not choose to be in this position, and finding something to help relieve your pain shows you care about your quality of life.

As @pb50 mentioned, perhaps discussing this with your clinic's social worker or with a therapist, will allow you to see your value, and help you dispel those feelings of guilt. Can you look into this and let me know?

I know that feeling guilty is not at all how I should feel and I do feel that I'm worth taking the drugs to be able to cope physically thru out the day. I know that I did not ask for this pain however with the opioid war going on in today's society it's just hard for me to not feel strange about the issue at hand. I have talked to my psych Dr and PCP about this. They are in agreement that I do need the drugs and therefore I cope with the situation as a whole. Thank you so much for your encouraging words!❤️
