Posted by ilahiRameez @ilahi, Oct 25, 2023

Hi I am Rameez, 28 years old. I was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia about 14 months ago. I take dasatinib tablets for the treatment. Almost an year went alright, lately I am feeling continues problems physically and emotionally. I am planning to take another opinion again. I would like to hear from someone who has the same condition and to know what medications or treatment they have done!?

Do the Bone Marrow Biopsy so you know what is going on. 37years old is young, and this could be just an infection. The not knowing what it is will make you more anxious then getting the diagnosis of what it is. They thought I had a bad infection at first, and that is why they let it go until I had a few more blood tests. I hope all turns out good, and you both need to know clearly what is going on. Please keep me updated, and God Bless you Both.

Hello dear
Actually my husband made blood test before 25 days there was some abnormal things
Wbc ok
But lymphocytic high
And netrophil very low
So they made another test
The Lym was in range
But the lym % was high
As well neu 0.6
So they checked his liver it was ok
But now maybe we should make bone marrow test
So am very weirded about everything because no. Thing clear😓😓😓
Some doctors says that maybe only infection so am very fear

Hi Sonia: All my numbers are in normal range. My Neutrophils are 2196, and normal range is 1500 to 7800. My Lymphocytes are 1692, and normal is between 850 to 3900 My wbc is 4.5. Now this is with the lab I use.
I will be going in a few weeks for my blood work to be done. Very hard to go by my numbers because they have been in normal range for over 20 years. I do still get anxious everytime I have to get tested, and that is a normal feeling also. Hope all goes well for treatment.

I had a blood test with a high WBC, and they repeated it two more times. Everytime they did it it got highter. Doctor said the only way to find out what was going on was to have a Bone Marrow Biopsy. The results were CML They look at the whole break down of your blood results, and other tests are done also to verify diagnosis.

Hello my name is Kim,
I have recently been diagnosed with CML on 11/14/2023. I went to the doctor for my routine physical/bloodwork at the end of October. I was told my WBC were elevated and I need to retest. The next call I received was different nurses and doctors from my primary care and Hematology. I’m currently taking Hydroxyurea, and waiting to receive Sprycel. I’m 52 never had any health problems my entire life. This is so shocking to me. I have to get a bone biopsy on Dec 1 and they’re doing it at the hospital under moderate sedation. I’m so terrified of the unknown. Could someone please tell me if this procedure is painful as it sounds. I appreciate this form I just found it. I will be praying for you all.

Hello, when I was first diagnosed it was 88. Now it’s back in normal range with the medication they put me on.

I’m sorry not sure I understand are you asking is your findings okay? If so, yes it’s great because if there is no Philadelphia Chromosomes or blast I believe you’re in remission. Unfortunately for me, my wbc’s are great but all my blood cells show the Philadelphia Chromosome. It’s okay though God has a plan and I’m just gonna keep praying and standing on my faith. I will keep you in my prayers as well.
