Hello @ihatepainalot, Welcome to Connect. It must be terribly frustrating dealing with the pain for more than a year following your bilateral hernia surgery. I had bilateral inguinal hernia surgery awhile back and was fortunate that everything went OK with the recovery. While we wait for other members who may have experience, I did find some related information that sounds like what may be causing your symptoms.

--- A rare complication after inguinal hernia repair: testicular torsion: https://www.semanticscholar.org/paper/A-rare-complication-after-inguinal-hernia-repair%3A-%C3%96zsa%C4%9F%C4%B1r-Ak%C3%A7a/e87e6a8f5c8329c443b26dfdff6fb8133daa99e6.

Have you thought about seeking help or a second opinion at a teaching hospital or major health facility?

No I haven’t . It seems Kaiser is giving me the runaround.
Since I had the bilateral hernia surgery I had my knee and shoulder replaced .
But this pain is very debilitating .
I am on Medi Cal state medical care from Kaiser .
I’m very interested in relief ~
