Can chronic itching be caused by Neuropathy

I've had back itching for years. I use Sarna cream to alleviate the itching...works wonders! Biopsy of back area was taken years ago and showed nothing. Keep your itchy area really clean by using a bath or shower brush with soap. Washcloth use was no help. Also try Zyrtec daily and you will get some relief.

I’ll look up Sarna cream as in Australia it’s usually called
Something different.
Yes I’m using a back loofah and all natural soap on my body.
I also take clarentyne which helps somewhat but thinking of changing to Zyrtec to see if it’s better with the itching.
