I’m so sorry you are going through such pain and distress. Do you know if it’s psoriasis or eczema, perhaps? Are there any cremes or salves that soothe your skin?

I would guess that a healthcare provider would need to see your skin condition before they could treat you.

@coffeecarla12, Mayo Clinic welcomes both new and existing patients for virtual and in-person care in adherence with federal and state executive orders and guidance. Virtual care is available for out-of-state patients IF the provider you are seeing is licensed in the state where you live.

Video and phone visits can be great options for appointments before, after or in place of face-to-face care. Not all appointments are permitted virtually.

I did go to a few dermatologist and even one rheumatologist I’ve used everything. I was told it was eczema than psoriasis by the dermatologist and one dermatologist thought a rheumatologist. He did all these tests and said something didn’t look right but wasn’t sure and decided to try me on a shot for it but at the end of the day I was afraid to be the trial for it. I’ve been living with this way too long

I had gone to a dermatologist and I wasn’t sure if it was the right course of action. I did an online consultation with a Mayo dr. He assured me I was on the right track.

@coffeecarla12. It seems to me that you’re getting mixed signals from a mix of doctors and that isn’t fun. If you don’t have luck with a virtual appointment with Mayo, you might try these organizations.

This is exactly right. I first was told eczema on hands and feet. Than psoriasis, than some didn’t know. A dermatologist sent me to a rheumatologist and he didn’t even want to look at my feet. He did blood work and thought maybe an auto immune disease which I’ve had a lot of friends say it seems to be that. He did blood work said he saw one weird thing in my bones or something in my knuckles but said we could try a shot but wasn’t sure it was an auto immune disease. I’m at a loss I decided not to take the shot until I did more research I’m still struggling

I was helped when I went to Mosani in Tampa. It was all over my hands and chest. I was so miserable that I didn’t want to live. I saw Dr Glass in the dermatology department. He got me into remission. I had to travel to see him but it was worth it. I can’t get into see him until July! I am working with my dermatologist here and she is doing what he prescribed basically. Anyway I am not itching. I hope I will go into remission again!
