I stayed at the Gift inn of Life house when I had my transplant. It was a great environment to be in post transplant because you were around so many people that were in similar circumstances as you are. When I was there they had a program that if they were full they would help you find a hotel until space open up in one of there houses not sure if they still do that

They still do that. We continue to stay at GOL, gift of life. Where there for 6m post DLT. Having others that have been thru, in, or post transplant is a great support. And the staff is amazing, but yes when full they assist finding other places.
