A little over 2 months ago, I had a pacemaker inserted. I have bad pain at the insertion site.
This pain is at the top of the incision. I cannot have any clothing touch this or it hurts. At night, when I roll onto my back afyer being on either side, the shooting pain wakes me up.
Is it possible that this incision is accidentally attached to a nerve?
Before this surgery. I was a very active 63 year old. Exercising daily.
Any advice would be helpful. My doctor said this is healing but this much pain (constantly) cannot be normal.
