Hi, @sue26. I see that you have just joined Connect and I want to want to welcome you.
I am going to assume that this is a fairly recent recommendation for you. And so I have found some information from Mayo Clinic's health Library that will give you an overview about Cornea Transplant.

I hope that you got an idea of what to expect, however keep in mind that different clinics/surgeons can vary slightly on technique for procedures and follow-up.
Have you met with the surgeon who will be doing the procedure?

Hello Rosemary,
Thank you for replying so quickly. I met with the surgeon a year ago and then recently had a letter to say I was booked for a cataract op followed up 4 weeks later for the transplant but not had any discussions.
I will check your link out in the morning as it is 2.57am in uk.

I'm not sure of the procedure only that he change it to doing both ops at the same time. I feel a bit worried about it all.
