I've been with my spouse for 25 years and I am so thankful we had many normal years together. I cannot even imagine dating now. He is very understanding about everything but if we are wanting to be intimate, I have to forgo eating pretty much anything for a few hours before and other preparations. He understands he needs to take advantage of "good" tummy days and that some days I feel disgusting and he doesn't take it personally. I don't know how anyone navigates the dating world with digestive issues. We should have our own dating site! Although many people who have had bariatric surgery do have digestive issues so join a bariatric dating support group and you may have lots of luck. 🙂
