I had MRSA develop after a major back surgery. I was in the hospital for nine months. When I was released I had to learn to walk again. About two years later I developed neuropathy which then progressed to the point that I cannot walk without my walker. Balance is in the toilet. And now I have drop foot in my right foot in addition to the neuropathy. I feel for you alg56. God bless you. brotherchuckles

Not nine months; a month and a half. I have no ideea why I wrote that. brotherchuckles

Just some suggestions. I think that your back surgery resulted in something pushing on your spine. Get another MRI and talk to a back specialist to see what they think may be the problem. It could be assisted by a surgeon who specializes in microsurgery. He might be able to carve away the bone or scares that may be pushing on the spine. Good Luck- the disease really sucks. You may only stop some progression. My microsurgeon stopped my drop foot but not the neuropathy that still progresses in my feet.
