Is GOODRX trustworthy?

FWIW, I just asked my daughter about your question. She's an emergency room RN. We just looked online, and GoodRx Gold is a mail order pharmacy. (Sounds like you'd pay an extra fee for the service, so check that out.) She said that they have ER patients who want their prescriptions sent to their mail order pharmacy (not necessarily GoodRxGold!), only to find out that they can't get the prescriptions in a timely manner. Obviously that's a concern with Creon. Hopefully someone can give you better info on GoodRx specifically. Is there a way to build up a "supply" of a few days' worth of Creon to give you an emergency buffer in case an order shows up late? Also, can you pay for express shipping? That would negate some of your savings, of course.

I get my Creon through Abbvie Assist free, sent to my home each month. Maybe you are eligible; I would definitely look into it. My pharmacist at Mayo suggested it as Creon was crazy expensive. Once you are approved. You just call in once a month and they sent a months supply right to your home. I was in the program last year and just got approved for this year again at NO expense to me.

What makes one eligible if I may ask?

You personally have to make less than $80,000 a year. I was a teacher and made a lot kess. Your husband’s income doesn’t matter.

It could change from year to year, but I did not get hit with the income restriction (thankfully, because I go through a lot of Creon).

When I originally applied and was accepted, it appears to have been under the program now described on their website as the "CREON On Course" program:

"Support and educational resources for people with EPI. If you have EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency) due to chronic pancreatitis, pancreatectomy, or other conditions that are not cystic fibrosis, CREON On Course offers support and resources for your needs."

I also just got approved for Creon sent to me by Abbvie Assist. I am so excited! I have been paying for it with insurance, etc. for 16 months, and it is crazy expensive. My oncologist office did all the work for me, just called to say I was approved. Yay!
