I had right hip replacement 5 years ago. The original pain in my pelvic area is gone but now I have bursitis in that hip. It's also in the outer area. I do have injections every 4 to 6 months and sometimes it helps and other times it doesn't. When it's bad I can't sleep on that side. The pain started about two years ago.

Thanks so so much for you message. I don't do well with pain from needles with Lupus nd Fibromylagia ... Sounds like it might be worth a shot. I fell In november and this is when all this started up again with this pain i had before surgery in side of hip. They say rest is ll that will help for the bursitis and it won't work if there is only a small amount of fluid in there... only if lots of fluid. Looks like i will give it a go and hope it's not too painful to get that needle. take care
