Hi @emmagrave. I have a daughter who is now 40 years old. When she was little and stressed or upset about something, I would gently grab her arms just above the wrists. It instantly calmed her. She told me a few years ago that it was one of the single most comforting things that she remembers. I still instinctively do that when she or any of my friends or loved ones are upset.
Imagine that I’m doing that with you right now. Take a deep breath and we’ll work through this, ok?
I know this feels like a very scary time if you think you’re pregnant. It happened to me when I was younger too..,even though I was on the pill at that time. But I wasn’t ready to be pregnant and was very scared that I was. I’m now 70 and that was a million years ago. ☺️
If your boyfriend was wearing a condom, they have a good reliability rate. So the odds are that you’re not pregnant. Do you think there was a time when the condom leaked?
One thing that you can do is buy a pregnancy test. They’re available at any drug store and you don’t need a prescription.
If there is a Planned Parenthood clinic in your city, you can also go there to get tested. It’s just a urine test.
Please believe me, I’m not judging you at all! We’re women…these things can happen. But I’d like to know if this is something you can talk over with your mom?
thank you! it couldve leaked, we never really checked. and yes, if my period didnt come in the next few days, he said he would go grab a pregnancy test for me. As for talking about this with my mom, its a no-go, i don’t trust my parents and what they would do if they even found out i had a a boyfriend let alone that we have sex.
