Have been diagnosed with a high-level of Collagen Type ll Antibodies

Seven months ago it was discovered that I have a Pannus , at the top of my spine C 1-2. , a type mass. I also have Facet Capsulitis at the C - 7, 8 and T -1. It’s very painful. I had an MRI of my lumbar yesterday, which has become increasingly painful so much so that the pain pills I take are not working, will see if this is affecting that part of my spine as well. Because all of these symptoms my immunologist ran specific bloodwork and diagnosed me Thursday an auto immune disease caused by collagen type two antibodies. I never knew these diseases could be so complicated. It’s presenting as Polychrondritis and vasculitis Synovitis. The problem is trying to get treatment for a special type of infusion.

Has anyone had any experience with something like this?

Thank you so much ….

That’s a new thing for us all to think about. You poor thing! I personally would change the painkillers or add a different one in and I would change my diet radically to the Autoimmune protocol diet which is not easy but hell it could just make a big difference. All the best on your journey.

Thank you so very much for your response. I was not aware of the autoimmune diet. I’m going to look into that right now. I will look into a different type of pain medication. Thank you again..
