This gives me hope (Japanese study.)

Changes in BMD with romosozumab was also evaluated in postmenopausal Japanese women with osteoporosis.10 Women with a T-score < −2.5 were randomized to romosozumab (70 mg, 140 mg, 210 mg) SQ once monthly for 12 months, or placebo. All romosozumab doses increased BMD compared with placebo (P < .01). Similar to the previous trial, the 210 mg dose produced the largest gain from baseline (16.9%, P < .001), when compared with the 70 and 140 mg dose (8.4%, 13.3%, respectively; P < .001). All doses increased bone formation marker P1NP and decreased bone resorption marker sCTx at week 1, compared with placebo (P < .001). The mean age in this study was 67.7 years with average T-scores of −2.7, −1.9, and −2.3 at the lumbar spine, total hip, and femoral neck, respectively. Adverse events were comparable between the groups.
This is a helpful discussion! I read that "exposure" to Evenity is greater proportional to (lower) weight so those of us around 100lbs. are getting greater exposure with a half dose than the average person. That study would have validity in my view if weights were somewhat standardized. Then again, if side effects were the same for all doses, I am not sure if doing a half dose would be any easier and the benefits would be less. Or did the study mean side effects were comparable between placebo and Evenity groups?
I am traveling and when I get back on Tuesday am going to search for more studies. Thanks for the info on studies you both found.
I have posted on different places about my experience with Evenity but in response to your question, the adverse effects I experienced from Evenity-joint/muscle pain, spasms, gradually went away after about 6 months after last injection. I went into Evenity as a healthy 66 year old, with osteoporosis, who is pretty active (skiing, mountain biking, walking, hiking) and never had any pain before Evenity. I thought I had ruined my health as I could barely move after 11 months. The pain started at about 6 months and I decided to push through. I quit after 11th month. My gains in all three sites took me out of the osteoporosis range. My spine improvement went from -3.8 to -2.1 which is great. I started Fosomax after Evenity and all negative effects started to come back. I switched to Actonel, 1x/month, and am doing fine. Mild aching and no negative effects to date. Hope this helps. I did read that with Evenity the best bone building results are achieved within the first six months. If this is true, I would have stopped after month 6 or 7.
Interesting that in two of the studies linked above, dose was determined by weight. According to one, my dose would be 135 mg, not 210.

I wonder if there is a test for antibodies to Evenity.
@bebea5 - Good for you! Thank you for your reply.
I'm still thinking. I'm on an even keel right now, and I'm unsure if I want to disturb it. I had a horrible 2023.

@gravity3 - Does gravity mean your feet are firmly planted on the ground? :o)
No, it doesn't mean that. They were the three that my ortho group presented to me. Do you use Forteo?

I was on forteo prior to alendronate for 5 years. Now on evenity
And at least in one study, women were given 1-2 mg/kg while the dosage for men was 3 mg/kg.
I stopped after 8 months due to similar side effects. I also had a cough & drainage I couldn’t shake even with inhalers.
Everything cleared up after stopping Evenity.
This is a good point. An ideal dose is for maximum effect with the least (or acceptable) amount of side effects, which wasn’t apparent according to this article.
