Cindisue…I believe the term “addictive” can be interpreted in different ways. I am using it as in physically addictive, where it affects your brain chemistry, your body craves it, you become tolerant and need more to get the desired effect.
In saying that, it’s great that you’re only using 2-3 times a week and it’s working for you. I did not like how it was affecting me and no longer working. I am thrilled to no longer be on a benzo.
We are all different and need to do what works for each of us. I’m happy to be sleeping again and feeling great. Continued health and success for you too!

kawanhee... I am on Lorazepam now and take it nightly. But have only been on it 5 months and only take 1mg-1.5mg per night...spread out. I am kind of fearful of being physically addicted, but it works so great for me for both sleep and anxiety, that right now, I just want to feel normal and good and that is what this med does for me. I hardly ever have to take it in the daytime for anxiety like I did with the diazepam I used to take. Sorry if I've asked you this before...but how many milligrams were you taking of Lorazepam? The Mirtazapine gave me such bad achey legs it was intolerable and I had to quit it.
