Anyone take prednisone with tacolimus?

Hi I am almost 2 1/2 yrs post kidney transplant. I now take Envarsus 1.5mg first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I take 5mg of Prednisone at 1pm with food. My bloodwork is all normal except for a low gfr 36-39. Creatinine range 1.48 - 1.58. Transplant nephrologist not concerned. Makes me nervous its so low. I am goi g to ask for the Cystatin C reading.

littlek, Thank you for your post. What is Cystatin C reading? I find that transplant center docs support patients in different ways from different centers. I have not heard of Cystatin C reading. May I ask also what your tacrolimus levels are taking 1.5 mg in am and then waiting until 1pm to take the prednisone? I also take the Envarsus with food in am. Not sure now if I am taking them at the right times. Thank you, BB
