I've also had several SI joint, L4/L5 and L5/SI and trigger point injections. Each has helped for a while, however right now the pain comes when i walk too long, get up and try to move initially, down my leg front and sice, groin, etc.

My next steps are a second lumbar facet block then if I still get the relief I got with the first one Monday of this week, an ablation.

These issues are not fun!

I had a medial branch nerve block (nerve ablation) April of 2023 in my lumber spine and I am still pain free. I will do it again when or if the pain comes back. An anesthesiologist did the procedure. I don't know if this gives you any more information in what you are doing.
