Thanks, Kay!
I love the "deranged" plasma cells!
I think I'll use that term too. And yes, my K/L ratio is good. That's a plus, for sure.

I'm with you, Kay, I love dark chocolate too. Not fond of milk chocolate though.

I'm still working two to three weeks out of each month, so I'll try to make time to check on my meds' side effects.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Nan

Wouldn’t you think that PCPs would be connecting the dots on medication side effects and your blood analysis?
I’m going to be 72 in a few months and my PCP is in a gerentology clinic. It’s actually a great fit for me as I look around the waiting room and note all the old people. 😉 It makes me feel infinitely younger.
At any rate, she is quite good about medication management and ensuring that my chemistry stays balanced. After the age of 50, a wise physician friend recommended that I switch to an internist rather than a generalist for just this reason. She did not steer me wrong.
You are busy and so is your doc, I’m sure, but it’s his or her job. Call your provider and tell them about your concerns and ask for a physician review of possible side effects of your prescribed medications.
Best of luck,
Patty
