MCVP was proud to be able to provide volunteer support for Charter House's 32nd Annual Sidewalk Sale last Friday, July 15. This was the first time the sale was held since before the pandemic, and with three years' worth of inventory accumulated, there were many great items to choose from!
The old K-Mart building on 9th St SE was filled with furniture, books, and household items donated by Charter House residents. Volunteers were hard at work assisting customers and marking items as sold; items were going quickly, so this was quite a task! By midmorning, most of the items were already spoken for.
Proceeds from the sale are going to support six local nonprofit organizations, including Family Promise Rochester, the Rochester Public Library Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, Thrive Child Care and Family Resource Center, Children's Museum of Rochester, and Yellow Monkey.
Thank you to the volunteers who gave of their time to support the sale! You helped to make it another great success.
