Please welcome Waad Elkhalifa to MCVP! Currently a student at RCTC, Waad joins us as a college volunteer. She will be assisting patients and visitors at the Eisenberg Subway Welcome Desk at Methodist, as well as serving patients in the Chemotherapy treatment center.
Q: Are you originally from the Rochester area? If not, where else have you lived?
A: No - I have lived in Abu Dhabi, UAE and Iowa City, Iowa.
Q: When you aren't volunteering, what else do you like to do?
A: Work, help my mother, and go on walks.
Q: What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
A: A boat, fuel, and a lighter.
Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?
A: I am graduating my associate program soon.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Mayo Clinic?
A: I like the artwork all over the campuses. It adds a beautiful element to the Mayo Clinic hospital.
